Engineering Division of Bhatia
& Co., is involved in the sales and service of
Detroit Diesel Engines, Allison Transmissions,
Briggs& Stratton petrol engines, Briggs&
Stratton power products and the supply of spare
parts. Our division serves the marine, Industrial
(oil exploration), construction, Automotive and
Power Generation field.
Our facilities at
Sitra Industrial Area incorporate a large
well-laid out workshop with the latest testing
equipment, special tools, a parts warehouse and an
office with an integrated computer network
system.
The division has competent team of
Sales engineer, experienced supervisor and shop
floor personnel with many years of hands-on
experience in the diesel engineering trade. The
facilities available in our workshop are the best
in the industry to serve your requirements
promptly and efficiently.
The following are
the complete facilities to provide better repair
and overhaul services:
- A floor area of 8,000
sq.ft.
- A large wash area for
chemical cleaning of engine parts.
- Engine dynamometer of 1000
HP capacity.
- Injector room complete with
calibrator and other testing tools.
- Engine and transmission
stands.
- Special engine
tools.
SPARE PARTS
Engineering division maintains a huge
stock of Detroit engine parts, Allison parts and
Briggs & Stratton petrol engine parts in our
large and well-organized warehouse.
We
store all the necessary spare parts for any
Detroit Engine repair/overhaul jobs. So delivery
time is greatly reduced.
In addition to
the stocks of Detroit Diesel Engine spares,
Allison spare, B & S spares, we also have AC
Delco filters, Fleetguard filters, Guages, Kent
Moore Specialized Tools, Delco Remy Starter Motors
and alternators.
We have an integrated
on-line computer system that allows us to respond
quickly to your enquiries on engine, transmission
parts and requests for quotations. The system also
keeps detailed records of spare parts changed on
each repair of engine.
REPAIR & OVERHAUL
Our workshop specializes in the repair and
overhaul of Detroit Diesel Engines, Allison
Transmissions and Briggs & Stratton Petrol
Engines. Detroit Engines are mainly used in the
Marine propulsion, Generator sets, Highway and
off-highway equipments, Industrial and
construction.
SERVICE & WARRANTY
Bhatia & Co. emphasizes on quality work in
our sales and service with quick turnaround time
for our customers. This is made possible by the
constant upgrading of technical knowledge and
skills through training, regular service bulletin
updates and service manuals and through DDC,
ALLISON, BRIGGS & STRATTON extranet networks.
Many of our qualified mechanics have more than 15
years of experience in Detroit Diesel
Engines.
Our mechanics not only work in our
workshop but also in sites, on board the vessel
etc.
In-line with Detroit Diesel's,
Allison's, B & S' policy on parts and service,
Bhatia & Co., warrants its workmanship and new
parts for 6 months from the date of
delivery.

We also have an inventory of
Detroit Diesel engines of various horsepower and
models, which can be rebuilt to customers'
requirement and dynotested before leaving our
workshop
