This privacy notice describes how Banz Group collects and processes personal information about you; how we use and protect this information; and the choices you can make about how we use this information. This policy should be read in conjunction with any other privacy notices or fair processing notices and product terms and conditions we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data.

This privacy notice applies to all personal information we collect about you to provide our services, enhance your experience, and provide you with other relevant information about our offerings. Personal information is information, or a combination of pieces of information that could reasonably allow you to be identified.

What person information do we collect

We collect your personal information from you directly, and information we collect about you automatically through cookies.

Information we collect directly from you through website

The categories of information that we collect directly from you include the following:

  • Company details e.g., company name;

If you access the Services through a computer, we will automatically collect information such as

We do not use profiling or automated decision-making. This means you decisions will not have impact on you solely based on automated decision-making.

Marketing

We also use remarketing services to advertise on third-party websites to you after you visited our site or services. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our service. We use Google Ads for these purposes. Google Ads remarketing service is provided by Google. You can opt-out of this by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: google.com/settings/ads.

Right to enquire

You have the right to request and obtain information on your personal data that we hold and the purpose for which it is maintained by us.

Right to object to processing

In certain circumstances, you may object to specific processing activities, activities, require us to restrict how we process your personal information.

Right to demand rectification

If any of the personal information that we hold about you changes or found incorrect, you may request us to update/rectify your personal information. You have the right to request to rectify, block or erase your personal data, as the case may be, if the processing thereof is done in contravention of the provisions of the law, and in particular, if the data is incorrect, incomplete or not updated, or if the processing thereof is illegal.

Right to withdraw consent

Where you have given your consent to a particular type of processing, you may withdraw that consent at any time after providing consent.  Withdrawal of consent will be applicable to future use of the personal data and will not in any way impact legitimate use of the personal information prior to the withdrawal of the consent. Withdrawal of consent to process certain mandatory personal data related to services provided by the Company will result in our inability to continue the provision of those services.

Right to complain

You may submit a complaint to the Authority, if you have reason to believe that any violation of the provisions of this privacy law has occurred or that we are processing personal data in contravention of its provisions.

Information sharing

In general, we do not share your personal information with third parties unless we are required to do so by law, or we are contractually obliged to do so, of if you ask us to do so.

We rely on third-party service providers to perform a variety of services on our behalf, such as banks, website hosting, electronic message delivery. This means that we must share your personal information with these third parties. When we share your personal information in this way, we put in place appropriate measures to make sure that our service providers keep your personal information secure.

Situations in which we will disclose your personal information to a third party, are:

  • Audits or regulatory reviews;

  • Where permitted by law, to protect and defend our rights and property; and

  • When required by law, and/or public authorities.

Information Transfer outside Bahrain

Banz Group does not transfer to, store, and process your personal information in a country other than the one in which it was provided.

How do we secure your personal information?

We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. We require all employees and principals to keep personal information confidential and only authorised personnel have access to this information.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

Retention period

We will keep your personal information for as long as we have a relationship with you. Once our relationship with you has come to an end, we will retain your personal information for a period of 5 years that enables us to: maintain our business records for analysis and/or audit purposes; comply with record retention requirements under the law; defend or bring any legal claims; and deal with any complaints.

We will delete your personal information when it is no longer required for these purposes. If there is any information that we are unable, for technical reasons, to delete entirely from our systems, we will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further processing or use of the data.

Children’s Privacy

We will not process personal information of your family members, including your children. When we do so, it will be in compliance with data protection laws as they apply to children.

You may request a copy of this privacy notice from us using the contact details set out above. We may modify or update this privacy notice from time to time. You will be able to see when we last updated the privacy notice because we will include a revision date. Changes and additions to this privacy notice are effective from the date on which they are posted.
